I only had to talk with Customer Service once and they talked to me like I knew what she was talking about and ended the conversation. Speed is good at times, but the past month of May I have noticed that my computer has been very slow and internet was sluggish opening sites. And during these issues noticed that my lights on my modem have been going on and off instead of staying on.
For larger, more internet-hungry households, we’d recommend looking into Viasat. To get around that limit on any HughesNet plan, you can take advantage of HughesNet’s Bonus Zone, which is essentially 50 extra GB of data free between the hours of 2–5 a.m. A good time to get your graveyard shift gaming in. Disney+ won't even try, gives buffering error code, and gives up.

Hughesnet goes by Promotion to Promotion and none of the agents has the ability to go against the promotion. Not to mention, Hughesnet is not in competition with other companies in your area. You are not obligated for service because if you fail the required Credit check then you are not obligated to have the service. I am posting this response because quite a few of these people have never had the service. We've had issues with HughesNet being slow since we signed up. We rarely both call tech support though, because the answer is always the same.
You can’t bundle your HughesNet Internet with TV to get discounts. But you can get DISH or DIRECTV as your HughesNet Internet TV option—you’ll just have to purchase it separately. They’re both available everywhere, just like HughesNet. You’ll just have two satellite dishes on top of your house.
The previous owners had a HughesNet dish already set up so I gave them a call. After speaking to a customer service rep who assured me my plan would be good enough to stream SlingTv and Netflix, I signed up. Someone came out to check the dish and connection, claiming it all looked good, but I still do not get the speeds I was promised. I ended up buying more data for my phone and use the hotspot feature for all of my internet needs. If they could get rid of the two year contract, it would be a much better experience. According to some reviews, it works great for people.
